The real Chickie IV started out as a pure racer, reaching a top speed of 42 mph back in 1930.  After 8 years and several changes it was re-introduced  as the "Thunderbolt Speedster" and was being clocked at over 50 mph.  This kit is a faithful reproduction of the "Chickie IV", a fully restored 1939 Thunderbolt and one of the rarest "Thunderbolts" ever built.  We wish to thank Mr. Bill Munro, the owner of the real "Chickie IV",  for his assistance in enabling us to present this boat kit to you. 

The model of this beautiful boat is 31-1/2 inches long and has a beam of 10-3/4 inches.  She'll look good as a mantelpiece, but that's only telling half the story.  Click on the ACTION button below to see the other half.
